Have not been to Barnard Castle for quite some time and was very happy to come across an Italian ice cream parlour. Had to go in an try the delicious flavours on offer. I was pretty restrained in my choices and opted for the Blueberry plus strawberry cheesecake in a tub. Wow! My wife opted for a delicious cannoli with a flat white. We sat outside despite the weather. The guy serving us was very friendly. Highly recommendThis appears to be a new venture and I wish the friendly proprietors well. The double of vanilla and jaffa cake was excellent, as was the strawberry. They had much more than gelato on offer also. Very clean and tidy establishment. Outside seating available. Recommended.

Stopped for an ice cream and ended up with a delicious milkshake. Service was excellent and my daughter said it was the best milkshake she's ever had.
Authentic Italian Gelato with a fabulous range of flavours, great fresh ground coffee, pizza & flatbread & panini ready to eat in less than 2 minutes.. And amazing choice of patisseries.. Recommend the best millionaire shortbread you'll ever taste 😋
Absolutely divine gelato. Tasty, refreshing. Also very nice, sweet Italian pastries. I see they've also branched into small savoury Italian meals, which I haven't tried, but when I do, I'll post again. A nice chair & table area outside, on the quiet pavement.

Truly wonderful tasting gelato. We went with Vanilla Waffle Cones, as easy to taste the quality of a product and possibly the best we've had! Really helpful and friendly team.

Best decaff coffee in the UK.
Quite the find for Coffee & Ice cream. This is a small ice cream shop that has only outdoor seating with no indoor facilities. We noticed that the shop and equipment were spotlessly clean. There is a selection of about a dozen or so ice creams which are of very high quality, retailing at £3 for a single tub. However the portion size was generous with the ice cream projecting almost as far above the tub as below.
We tried the decaf latte and was very impressed with the flavour. Although not marketing itself as a coffee shop, this establishment outshines most dedicated coffee shops in terms of coffee quality.
The coffee quality places this shop as serving the best coffee of all the coffee shops we have visited in the uk and it is well worth taking a detour for.
The establishment has no parking so the car will have to be left nearby (£1.80 for 2 hours). This gives ample time to enjoy the historic market town and its castle which is a 5 minute walk away.Scrumptious ice creams, cakes and hot drinks served by a delightfully friendly couple. Outside seating ans pooch friendly. Thoroughly recommend.
Awesome place. The owner(s) are incredibly passionate about their craft. The ice cream is delicious (I recommend the cherry if they have it on display!) and the coffee even better! I have every intention of returning to Barnard soon and this will definitely get visited again when I do.

A great new addition to Barney. I very much enjoyed my Forest Fruits and Jaffa Cake chocolate cone in today’s hot weather.
Had the most delicious Ice Cream (highly recommend the lemon meringue!) here a few weeks ago and the aragostine are just divine. Excellent customer service too! 10/10

Fantastic ice cream with lovely owners. Huge range of flavours and they've got recyclable tubs so you can take 500ml of ice cream home! They've also started serving some delicious Italian hot snacks. Will be back!

Being a lover of all things Italian, I noticed Gelato Tutti and popped in. A brilliant decision.
The person behind the counter was very helpful, happily listing the choices I had for a savoury snack. Had a toasted prosciutto and cheese flatbread with a flat white, followed by a cheeky cannolo.
If it had been a bit warmer, I would definitely have been tempted by a gelato.
